The “Mayor” of North Arlington

Coach Eddy Peach served as Head Football Coach and Athletic Coordinator at Lamar High School from 1970 to 2010. 

Coach Peach had a long list of accomplishments during his 40-year tenure at Lamar:

· Football record 316-126-7 

· 1970-1980 Coach of the Decade

· Regular season record 48-1 (1988-1993)

· 1988-2000- His teams had 13 consecutive playoff appearances 

· 1990 State Finalist

· 1990’s 3rd best 5a record in the State (102-20-1)

· 1994 Coach of the Year

· 1994 Denius UIL Award winner

· 1994 Region lll Nominee for North All- Star Coach

· 1996 North All-Star Coach

· 2000, 2003 State Semi- Finalist 

· 2002 State Quarter Finalist 

· 2008 First Texas high school coach to win 300 games at the top classification in Texas 

· 2010 Fort Worth Officials Association Lifetime Award

· 2016 Arlington ISD Schools opened the Eddy and Debbie Peach Elementary School 

· National Football Foundation Gridiron Club of Dallas Legends Award

· 2016 THSC Hall of Honor

· 2017 Texas High School Football Hall of Fame

· 2017 Arlington Independent School District Hall of Honor 

· He coached his team to the playoffs 19 times

· 16 district championships

· 15 time winner –District Coach of the Year

Above all the accolades and awards Eddy Peach received, the greatest treasure in his life was his family.
